Retreat 2009

I must not be blogging right now.

But something made me do it.

So, a few days a go, we had our Class Retreat in the Capuchin Retreat Center in Lipa, Batangas. It was good, not great or bad, just good.

We left the school last Wednesday at past 12 and arrived in the Retreat Center at around 3 in the afternoon (Yep. 3 hours D:). Its good to see SLEX and STAR Tollway again. And yes, its good that I've traveled there again after many years (in STAR, we drove there last 2005) and many months (in SLEX, I don't remember the last time I went there XD). So, we had an orientation or introduction before we knew our room numbers/mates. A Capuchin brother gave us some guidelines and rules and regulations (I forgot the name, or he really didn't introduce himself to us). Then after that our adviser gave us our room numbers. My roommates were Dana and Doong but Doong exchanged rooms with Eka, without telling our adviser, since she thought she was O.P. since Dana and I were friends. After knowing our roommates, was the most exciting part of our retreat (Fr. Chito's favorite phrase), merienda.

After our so-called "the most exciting part of our retreat" which is merienda, we had our first session. The first session was about the 5 R's of Ur Retreat. Fr. Chito also introduced himself to us, he will be our retreat facilitator for the whole of our retreat(not master, and I forgot what his explanation was D:). During the session, he gave us some examples and explanations. After the session, again, the most exciting part of our retreat, was dinner. We had a short rest in our dorm after the dinner. After the short rest was the Adoration that was held in the Chapel, were in, the Blessed Sacrament was exposed to us. Then finally, after it, was our sleeping time.

On the second day, we woke up at around 5:30 (the same time I wake up every school day). I was the first one to take a bath. And since most of my classmates were also taking their baths in their own dorms, it was hard to get a water. Good thing I figured out that you can combine the water of the faucet and the shower. After knowing the "water miracle", a Morning Prayer was held at around 7. The whole of it was great. We had the time to reflect and at the same time, we had the time to pray. After the Morning Prayer, the most exciting of our retreat, was breakfast, then rest, then Second Session. The second session was about LIFE. We were asked three questions: Masarap ang buhay kasi..., Malungkot ang buhay kasi... and Gusto ko pang mabuhay kasi.... I personally chose the third question, but no, I won't tell it XD. After it we had, the most exciting part of our retreat, merienda. Then, we had the third session, we watched a short film, The Secret of the Horse. (EDITED PART, Jan. 25, 6:14 PM >>>) Again, the most exciting part of our retreat, was lunch time. After lunch was our fourth session. I think it was when we prepared for our confession. Then, after it, was again, merienda. After eating, was our confession in the chapel. I remember even writing the sins I did XD (and even my roommates did the same thing). After the looong confession was again, the most exciting part of our retreat (sorry, I just can't stop saying that line XD), dinner. After dinner, we had the so-called ang hindi dapat MAWALA SA ISANG RETREAT, MEDITATION. Yes, we cried, and yes, I learned a lot from that simple yet meaningful part of the retreat. I was even touched when Fr. Chito even told some stories about his life and all of it. After crying and being too emotional, we finally had our bed time.

On the third and last day of our retreat was probably one of the most weirdest days of my "retreat times". We had our last breakfast. After it, we had our last session, in which where we made a "clay model" of our "DREAM/10 years from now...". After that activity was merienda. After it was our Retreat Mass. The Mass was okay, even though there was a "technical problems" during the first part. Blame Sir Soria for that. Nyaha. After the Mass, we thanked Fr. Chito for being our facilitator and of course, our mentor for the whole of our retreat. Then, the last most exciting part of our retreat, was lunch.

We would've left the retreat center for around 1:30pm. BUT some events happened and our departure was delayed and we left at past 2pm. We arrived at school, which was already raining hard, at around 5 (GOLLY! DX). My best friend and I talked (not really talked with each other but just because of the departure, she already left. Talk about being late, and I WAS NOT involved with it. Okay, whatever. I already said sorry to her, so, I'm just waiting for her response about it.

I would've posted this last night, but since I was too sleepy, I just drafted (auto-saved) it. But anyway, here it is, a new blog post.

Back to school again tomorrow. Time really flies fast. D:

Current Music: Nothing. Except the sound of silence. (Naks.)

I'm bored.

That's why I guess I posted in this blog just to get out of it (though I'm still bored while typing. LOL.)

Tomorrow's Monday. Tomorrow's the start of another week. And tomorrow's the distribution of Report Cards D: In short, there are going to be a lot of things to happen tomorrow. And yes, that's what I should expect, because its Monday. Its the start of everything, for the week that is.

I don't know what my grades would be for the past quarter. But I know, and I really know, that I'll have a low grade in Filipino. I flunked the test though. I guess I spent my energy with Chemistry (the test before Filipino) so I've lost them during Filipino. Darn me. But I know that it wouldn't be super low (low, low, low). 80 and above is okay for me, 79-76 is not for this year, hell, this is JUNIOR year, and not anymore SOPHOMORE year! Junior year's the "key" to Senior year and Senior year's the "key" to College. So, well, yes, I need to get high grades as possible, and if I don't, I won't go to a good school in College, in which, would be a bad idea.

Speaking of college, I've already chose 5 schools to take exams. A fact is, I didn't put U.P. in my own list. I don't exactly know why though I know that U.P. is in fact a very (100x very) good school. But, from what I've heard from the news and from the people, activism is already a tradition of U.P.. Probably because they're the National University of the country. And with activism, a lot of rallies (by the students and by the people) have happened there. I'm not against U.P. or anything, but I'm just expressing my own opinion. I never said I never liked U.P. but I just don't want to take an exam there. Okay, so skip with U.P.. I've also chose other schools, but nah, I don't want to say on what schools they are.

Courses to take. Hm. I haven't chose a real course exactly :)) Na-una ang schools kesa ang course. LOL. I actually have a list of courses to choose from, but not all are in some schools that I've chose. (e.g. MedTech, its not available in the 3 other schools I've chose). But, I'll say that I've finally chose MedTech, I.T./CompSci/MIS, and any Engineering course (Oo na. Kahit na ayoko ng Math. :P for the list of courses I would go for. And before I forget, it ALSO (and will forever) depend on the school I would enter in. Its IMPOSSIBLE to find a school that has ALL of the courses you need, that is except for one school (The school's a SECRET!).

Last, I still haven't enrolled in the college test review thingy! D: Kahit na mahal, kailangan ko yuuun!

So, I guess I'll continue more college posts next time.

AND, OMG. I still haven't done the extemporaneous speech for English D: BAD MEEE!

Question: What makes me a UNIQUE Filipina?
Answer: Unique? Meron nga ba? Haha. JOKE!

I'm dead for tomorrow.

CURSE YOU MONDAY!!!

An update again from me. Finally.

The past days seem to be too much. Though I'm happy I passed most of the exams (my Filipino flunked D: Darn Chemistry!), it has been awfully tiring. Well, I guess its really because that 4th Quarter has begun, and that means the LAST Quarter. Its not anymore the beginning, but its the end.

Today, well, it was okay. I guess I was actually lucky since I wasn't called during AP (Balitaan/News Reporting) and English (Extemporaneous Speech). I actually asked God for a good day today XD And yes, it did happen.

Before I leave, I finally changed the layout today. Its actually a "random" layout. I just picked it out from nowhere and bang, I downloaded it, and its on my blog. Its actually cute, but the layout before (around 2 years ago, or probably more than that) was better. It composed of monsters or balls, and when you click or run your mouse pointer on the monsters/balls they move/bounce. It was color green, dark or just medium green. Gaaah! I can't remember much :( I really want that layout again, and well, I don't know why XD

PS. I REALLY NEED THAT LAYOUT! D:

Weirdest Day Ever.

Current Mood: Tired.
Current Music: None.

Yesterday was probably the most weirdest and most tiring day of my 15 years of being alive. But, it was a good thing that I was perfectly fine when it ended.

First, our family laptop got broken (because it restarts when you shut it down and sometimes, when you turn it on, it hangs), so we need to go to a laptop repair shop in Mega. We went inside in a newly put up laptop repair shop (somewhere in the Cyberzone, and no, I won't tell the name) and decided to let them repair the laptop. We wanted to go to Acer (the laptop's brand name) but, I really don't know what pushed my sister to go to that newly put up repair shop. So instead of waiting there or leaving the laptop in the mall we decided to go around the mall for a gazillion years 8 hours. It got fixed when we returned for the third time (and the last time), but the technician didn't put the recovered files (the files were erased daw and he had to get them back) in our laptop. Instead, he placed the files in his very own laptop! I didn't really understand the whole and entire thing but this is what I just understood from my very upset and annoyed sister.

So yes, I'm just hoping some of my files are still alive and still breathing. Three of the files are probably much important than that laptop, okay, too I'm getting too OA.

Back to reality. TOMORROW is back to school day. Nooo. I don't want to go back yet. I'm still tired because of yesterday. D:

Owell. I can't do anything to stop it. 'Till then.

My first post for the year 2009 and my 170th post in this blog. :D

Yesterday was probably the weirdest New Year that I've experienced for this 15 years of my life. So we three were in the house just like the old times. We celebrated New Year with picturing the neighbor's fireworks (we actually have luces and sparklers, but they weren't lighted XDDD). We ate dinner and Media Noche. And we greeted each other Happy New Year. But, its just last night that I felt that it was a weird New Year celebration. I really don't know why, but it was weird.

Okay, so enough for the drama. I'm still thankful that my 2008 didn't end the worst and sad. Though there were problems or ups and downs during the year, I know that they were just trials that God has given me. And yes, it is also and probably the year that I got more closer than Him. I really don't know why but 2008 wasn't the worst year in my whole entire life, it isn't the best year ever. Its just probably an okay year. Its in the middle of the great and the worst.

Well, I guess I'll just greet you all a Happy New Year/Manigong Bagong Taon. The pictures yesterday weren't uploaded yet so, yeah, too bored to save them. But I promise, I'll post them tomorrow :D

Here's the quote I made up for the New Year last year, and I'll use it again XD:

Another year, another fear. Here's my cheer to the New Year.

PS. I don't have any New Year's resolutions. If I ever think of some resolutions, I'll guess I'll just keep them in mind. XD
